Residents stepped into the golden glow of late summer to experience rejuvenation and inspiration. They indulged in a luxurious, waterless self-pedicure led by Sonia Conrad, Senior Consultant with Mary Kay Skin Care and Cosmetics.
A spa-quality treatment leftyour feet ‘soft and sandal-ready,’ plus the know-how to repeat this blissful treatment at home.A waterless pedicure is as simple as a hot towel, carefully wrapped around your feet until the warmth melts and the fabric gradually cools.
While basking with lotions and sugar scrubs on their feet, participants learned how to wear their color palettes with confidence.Self-care is not only a luxury, it is a necessity.
Cheryl Staron, a Speaker and Certified Style and Color Consultant, unraveled the mysteries of wardrobes with a mini-color consultation.Staron demonstrated the hues that flatter unique skin tones, hair, and eyes and the art of self-renewal. She knows that the colors we wear speak volumes before we even utter a word. Her advice is both practical and empowering.
“Color isn’t always about wearing the most flattering shade every day,” Cheryl explains. “But when you wear the colors that truly suit you, it lights up your whole look—even if you’re just running out with a little makeup.” She shared her insights on neutrals, metals, whites, and how to continue using color products in your hair for consistency and harmony.
Each participant received a printed guide featuring their best colors, a practical tool for every shopping trip or closet cleanse. They also got to try other skin products that have healing agents and relaxing aromas as well as relief for pain.
After the pampering, everyone enjoyed beverages, snacks and conversations about how wonderful they all felt. Why is all this important? Cheryl and Sonia’s message resonates: “Look good, feel good.” They are also available to come to your park for a night of pampering and self-indulgence.
