DADE CITY CENTER FOR THE ARTS “Movable Art Project”
Approximately two years ago, Dde City Center for the Arts (DCCA) started a new project called the Movable Art Project. A scene representing facets of Dade City is displayed every 60 days. There are a total of sixteen (16) painted banners, with two of them retired until Spring and Winter arrive. We are very grateful for the workmanship of our Artists, and we hope you enjoy visiting the various locations to view the special Art!
Wherein Artists have been recruited to paint on prepared painters drop cloth, the Artwork is displayed at various business locations where there is a fence to display the banners. These locations include: Green Door on 8th, Le Garden Bistro, Uncle Fatty’s at the Dade City Brew House, Beef ‘O’ Brady’s, and The Book Shack. The banners are moved every 60 days.
Please check out our website at dadecityarts.com for more information. Above are a few of the latest banners that have been painted: America 250 Celebration - Artist: Jeff Muller, Discover Dade City - Artist: Lori Crone, Scatter Seeds of Kindness - Artist: Sharon Morris ♥
