The A-shift for Pasco County Fire and Rescue Station 24 was recognized for life-saving actions on Monday, June 8. The A-shift crew for Pasco County Fire Rescue Station 24 were honored by PCRF leadership and officials from AdventHealth Dade City.
The crew was presented with Lifesaving Awards after saving the life of 65-year-old Johnnie Bozeman. After experiencing chest pains, Bozeman called 9-1-1 and the Station 24 crew responded.
Just as they evaluated him and urged him to go to the hospital, Bozeman went into cardiac arrest. The crew was able to revive Bozeman and transport him to AdventHealth Dade City.
Bozeman was able to return home a few days later and personally thanked the Station 24 crew while attending the award presentation. ♥
