Pasco County limitslawn watering to once a week through July 1
Pasco County Utilities is asking residents to cut back on outdoor water use under a new Phase III “Extreme Water Shortage” order from the Southwest Florida Water Management District. The restrictions run from April 3 through July 1, 2026.
You can water lawns only once per week on your assigned day, based on your street address:
• 0 or 1: Monday
• 2 or 3: Tuesday
• 4 or 5: Wednesday
• 6 or 7: Thursday
• 8, 9, mixed, or no address: Friday
Use potable, well, or surface water between 8 p.m. and 4 a.m., or reclaimed water between midnight and 8 a.m.
Other rules:
• Home water slides and similar devices may only be used on your watering day.
• Car wash fundraisers are banned unless scheduled before March 24.
• HOAs cannot require landscape replacement or power washing for looks alone.
